I got this bike rack to replace the one I had for my ACTBEST APEX E-bike. This one was pretty straight forward on the installation. Although there are small areas that could be worked on to make the installation better, I am pretty happy with this. The main reason I got it is because I kept loosing the reflectors and back lights off of my older Cargo Rack. I felt that the bolt on larger reflector spot was better for the lights. I got a better clip on turn signal smart light to use with this cargo rack.

The bike rack itself is great and has worked well on my first few rides. I’ve attached a basket and it is sturdy and stable.
This product could be improved with better instructions for installation. I’m usually pretty good at deciphering instructions that have been translated or are missing steps/components, but these instructions were unclear and it took me much longer than I expected to get it securely attached.
However, the price and quality of the product really shine and I think it deserves 4 stars.

Sturdy, simple and easy to install

I bought this for a vintage Mongoose mountainbike and installed it myself. So far, it's been reliable and feels sturdy. Note: I don't intend to haul anything heavy and I wouldn't have a human sit on it like we did when I was younger. Installation was pretty simple (I'm a lifelong city dweller/Sunday mechanic at best). There's a lot of places for adjustment which has come in handy for an older bike. I had almost no extra room on the seat post – measure yours before buying – but when I adjusted the angle of the seat I needed to pull the rack further back to keep it from hitting. There were plenty of ways to easily do that. The little mud guard probably provides more character than function and it is easy to leave off if you wish. I like it. One minor concern I have is that the rear shifter cable slides right next to one of the lower attachments. I may add some cable housing there just in case.
